Student Success Program
Helping students build the skills and confidence they need to succeed!
We understand and celebrate individual differences and are committed to students achieving their personal and academic potential. The Student Success Program replaces and expands the highly successful Learning Lab; providing instructional support for students, teachers, and parents that positively enhance the Stoneybrooke experience. This program is offered as an option for families in three different levels depending on the student's needs. It is run by Mrs. Amee Lihme at the San Juan campus and Mrs. Monica Grim at the Ladera Ranch campus. Please call the school office to inquire about the monthly cost.
Level 1 - Strategic Support2x per week, 45 minutes each session Specific grade-level skills are identified and then targeted in one-to-one or small group settings. Short-term, tutoring sessions before, during, and immediately following the school day. |
Level 2 - Intensive Instruction3x per week, 40 minutes each session Regular intensive instruction in language arts and math. Modules designed to give students more exposure to the developmental foundations that underlie success in reading and math. |
Level 3 - Educational Therapy2x per week, 45 minutes each session (also includes either level 1 or level 2 services) Regular and ongoing intervention to address the processing functions that underlie learning. Utilizing highly recommended, research-based programs including: LiPS, Seeing Stars, Visualizing, Verbalizing, and On Cloud Nine Math. |
